I’ve been wanting to get my act together and invest in property for quite some time and now (Aug 2009) seems to be the ideal time to get my thinking straight and get prepared for taking the plunge.
I haven’t been able to find any truly unbiased advice on the net so I thought that it may well be useful if I collated all my experiences in one place as they happen. I hope you find this blog useful and subscribe to it. I’ll be wanting to return to the things I’ve written to make sure I learn from my mistakes, so I’m going to include everything here, warts ‘n’ all.
As I will be revealing quite a lot about my finances I think that for the moment I will keep my name off this site. I’m quite happy to be completely open, if anonymous!
I don’t have much in the way of assets. I do currently own my own house but the recent turmoil has had quite an effect on its value so I may well have to look elsewhere to get funds.
I work in IT and do not have a huge salary - although it does leave me with some disposable income each month.
That’s enough about me. I think it’s time to get down to it.
It’s currently Monday 17th August. Day 0 of my big adventure in property…. I wonder what I’ll be doing on day 500?!!
